Privacy policy

Weekbell ("we") is operated by Weekbell. Weekbell lets creators plan, schedule and publish their own photos and videos to the Instagram and TikTok accounts they connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

• Your sign-in details. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo.
• Connected account details. When you connect Instagram or TikTok we receive your account ID, username, display name, profile photo, account type and the access tokens those services issue. For TikTok we also read your current posting settings (who can view your posts, and whether comments, Duets and Stitches are allowed) each time you create a post.
• Content you add. Photos, videos, captions and post settings you upload or write, and the schedule you choose.
• Publishing results. Whether each post succeeded, the post ID and link the platform returns, and any error message.
• Security logs. Sign-ins, account connections and other security events, kept for 180 days.
• Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and load times on this site. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you, and doesn't follow you to other sites.

We do not collect your Instagram or TikTok password, your followers, your messages, or analytics about your audience.

How we use it

• To publish the content you choose, to the accounts you choose, at the time you choose. We never post anything you did not create or approve in Weekbell.
• To show you your schedule, your media library and the result of each post.
• To keep the service secure and to fix problems.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.

Data from Instagram and TikTok

Data we receive through the Instagram API and the TikTok API is used only to provide the features you use in Weekbell. Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored and are only decrypted at the moment we call the platform on your behalf. We use the minimum permissions needed: Instagram instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish; TikTok user.info.basic, video.publish and video.upload.

AI assistants

If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude through our MCP connector, it can only act on your Weekbell workspace after you approve it on a consent screen. You can see and revoke connected assistants at any time in Settings.

Where data is stored and who processes it

Weekbell runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and visit statistics). Google provides sign-in. Instagram (Meta) and TikTok receive the content you publish to them, under their own privacy policies. We share data with no one else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded media files are deleted 7 days after the posts that use them finish publishing. Files you never use stay in your library until you delete them.
• Access tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect an account.
• Everything else is kept until you delete it or delete your account.

Your choices and rights

• Disconnect Instagram or TikTok at any time from the Accounts page. This deletes the stored tokens and that account's scheduled posts.
• You can also remove access from Instagram (Settings › Apps and websites) or TikTok (Settings › Security › Manage app permissions).
• Delete your whole Weekbell account from Settings. This permanently deletes your profile, connected accounts, posts, media files and AI assistant connections.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to processing. Email us to use them.

Children

Weekbell is not for anyone under 18, or under the minimum age to use Instagram or TikTok in their country.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Media links given to Instagram and TikTok are signed and expire after a few hours.
